A Cherry Blossom Love Spell

At this time of year in Japan, flower festivals honor many fruit trees—but especially cherry trees. For many years, all parts of the cherry tree have been used in love spells. The blossoms, bark, leaves, and the fruit itself are known to attract love, fertility, and friendship. This spell calls for cherry blossoms, which should be abundant now. Begin this spell by gathering a handful of cherry blossoms that have fallen to the ground. Light a pink candle and scatter the blossoms on a piece of white fabric or a pretty handkerchief. Tie the corners of the fabric with a pink or red ribbon.

While not thinking of anyone specific, tie the ribbon in a knot as you say:

Love is sweet, love is fine, love is mine. 
Hide your bundle in a secret place.

This is a spell to protect a person from the criticism and hate of another.

This spell can be done during any phase of the moon

You must have something that is connected to the person, like a piece of

Did a little chant today to help me find a necklace in a pinch, since I had to go get a photo done.

I repeated it softly and lo and behold, not even a minute later, I found the necklace in a place I had already checked a few times. Yay for being a fledgling practitioner~

This is how I write a spell, and of course not how everyone else writes a spell c:

1. What is the purpose? Do you really need to use magic? Is there another way you can solve this? Would this hurt anyone to cast this? What is the result you want?
2. What is the best time to cast this spell? Would the moon phase contribute? Day of the week?
3. What items will you need? Do you have them on hand? What could compliment the spell? What could help give you more power to the spell?
4. Write the spell: What are the steps? What is the intent? What will make your will come into being? (A candle, herbs, crystals, chants, ect can help bring your will into being). How do you wish the spell to be done?
5. Cast the spell. Make sure to have a quiet area to not be disturbed in.

Tips:

-writing a chant with rhyming can not only help you remember, but give it more flavor

-Sometimes the best spell is the simplest

-Don’t have the spell use materials you don’t have, if you have to go quite a bit out of your way to get the material

-The best spell is the one you write yourself

you will need:

• a candle in your favorite color or scent
• 2 rose petals
• a happy picture of you from your childhood
• 1 citrine and 1 quartz crystal (optional)

Sit on the floor or at a table, make sure you are comfortable. Hold a crystal in each hand and meditate, if you desire. Light the candle and spread the rose petals around it. Place the picture in front of you and focus on the candle flame. Relax and breathe deeply, forgetting everything that is depressing you. Push all of your unhappiness toward the rose petal closest to you. Crush the rose petal in your hand and put it aside. Focus on the picture and say,

By the power within me, let happiness be.
Bring up from the corners of my mind,
the happiness and carefree of a child.
Push away heavy thoughts,
let happiness flow free.

Say this three times, more if you like, but no less. Close your eyes and remember a happy memory. Then, blow out the candle and pick up the other rose petal. Close your eyes and gently rub it over your forehead, focusing on whatever makes you happy. When you’re ready, bury the rose petals outside.

Leave the ring buried until the next full moon, then dig it up and wear it. If your lover is near, he/she will be drawn to you.
